just talking baout that this morning. the other one is iptv, which is like $30.

I just checked out the iptv and unless I was lookin at the wrong thing that iptv is WEAK.

I got the slingbox. Its not that bad, quality sucks if you have a shitty connection to the internet. I use it on my cell phone when my girl friend wants to go shopping. Life saver on boring trips.

Can the sling box be used to support a broadcast to your PC from another internet location or do you have to be in the same network range?

anywhere. My friend set it up in Chicago at her grandparents house, and then when she was in school (in Penn) she watched the shows she wanted.

Check out www.orb.com - you have to have a fast video card and processor. You can stream to your phone, tivo, computer, etc as well as do MP3s, pictures, etc.

Yup, i have it set up at home. I watch TV shows that i want anywhere that has an internet connection.
