I have used the cordless impact gun sold at PepBoys under the Goodyear brand at the race track and it's never failed. There's at least three of them among our paddock mates and it is definitely a tool worthy of track duty.

I have that same impact gun in my garage, it cant hardly take anything over 70 ft/lbs off. I would spend the extra penny and get something a bit better.
Edit:
I have the craftsman and it blows. Its good for **** once its loose but isnt the whole point of an impact gun to get high torqued stuff? I hardly use it.

I have a 100$ chinagun from Harbor Freight.. That piece of crap can't take off lug nuts, couldn't the day I got it. Exchanged it for another, same story.
IR2135Ti 1000lb-ft torque FTMFW.
Buy it online, Select in store pickup then go back and get it. Make sure you get the same sales douche.

I'm on my second $20 HF 1/2" gun. The first lasted over 10 years before just wearing out. They're cheaper to buy new than to repair, but I've never had them fall short of the torque I need, even if they're not near the rating. That's w/o an inline filter- just regular oil. The only thing I've ever come across that needed mega torque to remove were axle nuts - which I just use a pipe and breaker bar with.

I have a sears 1/2" impact and it rocks. It isn't the one listed in the link.
This is it:

With any airtool you need a substantial compressor to run in. None of the small oil-less compressors are worth crap when it comes to big air tools. My impact consumes about 7cfm @ 90PSI. Not too many small compressors will keep up with that. I've got a 60 gal tank and it takes no time for the impact to cycle the compressor.

Sorry for the thread jack, but I got a question for everyone. I'm on my second $50 china gun from HF. The first one I could overpower it with my hand, second one isn't much better. It won't break the lugs on my truck (Toyota 4x4). I am going to be redoing all of my bushings soon, and I imagine there will be quite a few heavily torqued, 18 year old bolts. I have been prepping them with PB Blaster. My Q is, what gun should I get? I need the cheapest one that will get the job done. Any suggestions? Oh BTW, I have a craftsman 22 gal. 6.4 scfm @90psi.
