Default So I had a run-in with a Maybach...

So what happened? From a dig to ~80, i got him
Would have been a completely different story if we were on the highway or something. And yes, he was racing. How do I know? He rolled down his friggin window and told me "It's tome to race, yes?". 600+hp doesn't mean crap when you have to move 3-tons of dead weight from a stop .
We did pull over and chat for awhile, i got to poke around the car.... my God is that thing nice to sit in. He was shouffering some people to a wedding earlier and was returning it to the garage the owner has. He showed me the garage too... had several vintage and restored RR's, several old Mercedes, old old old Morgan, 2 67 Corvette 427s (1 coupe and 1 covertible), a newer M5 and a few other cars. Cool guy nonetheless.

Figure i'd share what i did lastnight while driving around wasing gas... what are the chances i'll get to do that again?

Lol, awesome. Which Maybach was it? 4 door beast?

Either way impressive.

Hahahaha

How many people get to say they raced a Maybach, honestly?

And because it is sort of relevant:

I'd say ~2 cars... it was enough for me to safely get in front of him because my lane went to a turn only a little way up.

I've seen several of them here. Drive around Atlanta and you'll see all kinda six-figure cars.

I have seen a few here in tampa. There are almost more Maseratis here than caddy's.

The Maybachs are huge in person though, they got friggin reclining back seats. I have never run one before though, because most of the time they are carting ****** somewhere.

That's pretty cool. I like running into the guys that are a good sport about things. Its not even just about losing either. Some people will beat you in a fun little race and proceed to "haha" in your face about it.

Wish I could have been there.
