I have a 2000 SAAB 9-5 wagon as my daily, 120xxx on the clock. Black, SE model (3.0 V6, turbo).
Not a bad car so far. Owned it for almost 3 years now, replaced; rear struts, front rotors and pads, one DI cassette, rebuilt the turbo (known weak unit). So far so good, knock on wood.
It's not the sexiest car out there, but it does have its own appeal. I like it. As you said, comfy as hell, and you can put a ton of **** in the back. It's excellent for tailgating.

Good find man, I absolutely love the turbo wagons. One of these days I would love to pick one up for a comfy daily driver.
Saab's are some of my favortie cars. I've always had a thing for cars with quirky styling, especially the old 900 turbo's
