I'd feel alot better about this guy getting executed if the trial was less controversial.

this will probably produce a slew of granola eating, trustafarian, political themed bumper stickered sympathizers in Santa Fe.

are we any better by killing him?

Brings no one back. Puts him out the "easy" way.

Your suggestion was to torture him for a while? Go medieval on his ***?

He does have a point. Make cruel and unusual is necessary in some circumstances?

I am glad it has happened, but I think simply leaving the country alone entirely would have been far better if we could go back. I guess hindsight is always 20/20.

The only thing thats changed between 9:59 and 10:01 is that CNN and the likes have a new story to cover.

What makes you think that? I always welcome any intelligent discussion. State your mind - what do you think about it?

Let me ask you one question, do you think the world is better off without him?

I know you dont mind RM i just seems every time i post up on something like this it gets ignored. Or people start to complain about punctuation. I believe it makes no difference as that type of person still exists, everywhere and there are atleast 1K people in that region who where itching to take his place anyway. We have substituted a known status qou and visibile enemy for a sense of entitlement and self importance. With Sadam in power at least we knew who was pulling the strings in Iraq. And since Iran and Tehran Etc all dont get along with Iraq. We could use that to stunt any major growth into a power that ws capable of harming us. All the while they would be selling us oil to fund there efforts agianst each other. But we did so oil is outrgeusly inflated we have a multitude of moderate to severe radicals gathering support on their grass roots movements. And we have a whole lot of casualties and lives lost. I liken the situation to my generations veitnam. In urban/guerilla warfare and peace keeping, the stress and general practices can wear thin on anyone. Think about it if every one you might might be a bomb, this stess level can cause nervouse brakedowns as well as the loss of innocents when soldiers over react. Then if and when they get into a real killing situation it will be easier to kill agian and if they are in dangerous enough area just shooting anyone who spooks them or looks to be a threat, can be adictive. If and when these people get back here and they meet with any oposition from a local or some one else or there neighbor is just being a niusance. They would be alot more likely to go postal and do alot of damage. It saddens me to see people my age polluted like that.
