So what was your first car?
a lifted 77 silverado. it had custom headers and was loud as hell. though it ate gas like it was going out of style (oh, wait, it is going out of style) i do miss it.
kind of glad i got rid of it since gas prices are so bad now. it was cheaper then and it still cost me like $50 to fill it up.

I had a 1985 doo-doo brown 4-door Chevy cavalier, 2.0 4cyl and an automatic transmission. 140k miles. Ran great, but had no A/C and an only a AM radio. I beat the hell out of it and it never died. Got it for free and ended up selling it for $1500 after two years... 1998 I think.
1988 Ford ranger, v6 auto. First, and LAST Auto I'll EVER own.
It was turd brown and rusted, swapped in a 5 speed transmission and called it my stealth honda killer. Ran 15.2 1/4 miles and weighed under 2500 pounds. Rust sometimes isn't so bad.. That followed by a red 4 cylinder 5 speed version. By end of Senior year I had a 190hp T-bird 2.3 turbo in it. A year after HS, the truck burnt up.
I was 24 before I owned a vehicle (of 8) that would haul more than one passenger. Two pickup trucks and sports cars were all I had until I got my Mazdaspeed6, now I have 2 4 door sedans.
