Dunno. I guess I'm getting old and cynical - I voted for Nader because there wasn't a "None of the Above," and because the whining smarter-than-us-all ***** I work with will go ******* apoplectic when I tell them. They still blame him for Bush.

Seems to me that despite the 2 parties claiming wildly different platforms, when it comes time to govern, they're about as different as Swiss chocolate and Dutch chocolate.

Just got back too. In and out in 10 minutes. There was only 6 people in line. Voted Independent.

Neither candidate was close enough to center for my liking. Besides, the sooner we get away from two party politics, the better off we will be. We need a third, fourth, even a fifth party. Call it the purple party, I don't give a ****.

A little competition would probably be healthy, instead of plucking from the same hat all the time. It might make all of them try to work for the good of people and the country, instead of just themselves and their respective parties.

It works in the free market, why not government?
IMHO of course

we'll never get there because they don't want us there. the dem. and rep. parties are perfectly content to keep it a two-party system and are doing everything they can to keep it that way. There ain't a damn thing we can do either.

I agree with you there. They forgot it's "...by the people, for the people" not "...by the people, for ourselves"!

PS--why everyone gotta hate...so some black extremist is standing outside of a polling location with a nightstick....maybe he's training for the academy? If he has a stick he's intimidating voters, if it were a cane he's a pimp....every1 gotta put the black man down...

I can't wait till they start shooting rap vids at the WH. Ooooooo, and Mtv Cribs!!

I hope you're joking...they were yelling that they were tired of white supremacy and being jackasses, you work a poll you don't show up like that, period. If there were two Klan members in Alabama working at a poll in their robes all hell would break loose.

I sure as hell hope it does eventually... then again he is a socialist so he may be in office for the rest of our lives.

I don't see him making it to office even if he does win tonight anyway (which it's looking like is going to happen very soon) Biden will be out next President, which is going to be an even more amusing 4 years than either of Bush's terms if he keeps his antics as of late up.
