Solstice or NC Miata?
I'd probably only ever buy a solstice or sky if I wanted to garage a vehicular oddity that could be shown at car shows in 15 years as an example of yet another GM failure. Any other purpose I'd get an NC, I guess.
NC bitches. Sooo much better looking in person, it comes from a brand still in existence, and the aftermarket is great. The Saturn version looks dumb as does the Solstice IMO. Take a look at the NC in person, you'll be sold.
Why not just get a C5 Z06?

LS3 swap is a bit "easier" for the solstice (see Mallettcars.com). However, since ECUtek is now available for the NC, it will make going turbo much easier...once somebody actually builds a decent kit.
I was asking just to see which you guys would choose, the car with the turbo (which I thought would get more love since this is miataturbo) or the better platform that is apparently a bitch to turbo.
I would want the NC and this wasn't meant as a what should I buy thread.

I was under the impression there still wasnt many good tuning options, and the kits out there are less than stellar.
Maybe hard to do isnt the best expression, maybe HARDER to do as well as an NA/NB

Well, yeah. The NA/NB turbo systems had a 16 year head-start on the NC. They've had more time to mature.
The physical quality of the Bell NC turbo system is top-notch, just like their other stuff. The only "simple" engine management solution at the moment is Xede, but it's not like it's a bad ECU, it's just expensive and a piggyback. Seems to work, though.
