I'd daily one in a heartbeat. LSD, decent suspension, and some big sticky tires...those things are FUN.

They still handle like ****, but who gives a ****.

 

I hated those things till a friend got one and I got to drive it around. wow....seriously, say what you will about them, but that car is damn quick, and his with stg2 injectors, adjustible wga, stg2 ecu, tbe, larger fmic spiking 20psi holding 18 pulled hard. the owners are mainly douchebags, and the car has a bad rep, but is a fun little car. I still think they look like ****, but boy do they drive nice

For a 4 cyl I think the SRT-4 sounds badass, especially the backfires/burbling when you let off the gas. Definitely can be made to go fast. I think, much like Miatas have a gay guy stigma, SRT-4s have a bad rep because of their more flamboyant drivers.

You really know it's bad when you've got a forum full of miata owner's calling it gay...how much worse than that could it get?

 

Anybody who dubs a Miata as being "gay" is a retard who obviously doesn't understand real car guy stuff such as, center of gravity, HP to weight ratio, rear wheel drive, etc. The list goes on and on, and the Miata fits pretty much everything on it. I have many friends who are into muscle cars and street rods, and they all appreciate the Miata simply cause it's rear drive and light as hell. On the other hand, neither them nor I appreciate cars such as the Neon SRT-4, due to the fact that it's FWD and has 4 doors. If the Neon SRT-4 would been produced in a 2 door car that was RWD, that's the only way I'd ever give it credit.
