Default started my meth injection install

it got dark so I didn't get much done.

Put the pump under the spare, will mount a tank in the corner of the trunk and just ahead of that carpeted panel is the fuel pump wiring where there's a grommet I can sneak through.

I didn't realize it had such a high meth content.

have you seen what less than 1% of dish soap does in a sink full of water?

**** that, too much of a hassle.

I'm more worried about the nozzle coming apart and getting ingested than clogging.

I've been running distilled water(without exception) and mostly isopropyl alcohol (easier for me to acquire) for years without any clogging.
I wouldn't worry too much unless you start using tap water.

On another note, I might use methanol if it gets easier to find.

Another thing I'm considering is a small amout (10%) of nitromethane in the water/alky mix.
If I reconnect (it's already installed) the nitrous, I'm going to have to get some "Danger Highly Explosive Materials, Stay Back 50 ft" stickers for the car.

I might do denatured alky and water too then, that's cheap

My experience with the walter/isopropyl is a 65F degree drop while injecting.
I've tried denatured when I had the Aquamist system with an aquamist 15psi check valve, the denatured dissolved the internal diaphragm.
My kits basic DIY. Solenoid and Shurflow pump would be the only things affected by the juice. No problems so far. I can understand about availability. I don't drive my car far enough to worry about it. On the occasional roadtrip for golf or whatever I just switch to my non-alky map if I'm low or if a problem comes up.

Philip,
I'm not a big fan of NASIOC either. Signal to noise is ridiculously high. For my Suby needs I hang out at Subaruforester.org. NASIOC has more extreme setups though. The WI subforum at NASIOC is pretty on-topic.

mostly done, once the tank and line comes in I just need to run a power line to the pump along with the line to the nozzle.

I can't blow air through the check valve either direction, I guess we'll see if it'll work.

done..
can't tell a difference but that switch sure seems funky, I can hear the pump clicking on under normal cruising with the anti surge open, cranked it up some though.

worried about the low boost that this thing is seeing and that it's kicking in under vacuum and at low RPM, I have the nozzle just ahead or on top of the MAF.
