Saw that last night. Poured a drink out for my homie. :(

That said, i've discovered Stingray Music, and it's pretty winsauce.

I listen exclusively to terrestrial broadcast FM and AM radio.

Exclusively.

Including all the commercials.

To do otherwise is theft, and Satan will sodomize your ******* in hell with a Voodoo shift **** for all eternity.

Stingray apparently doesn't let you pick your song or artist. Can anyone recommend a service that does?

As soon as broadcast decides to play something I want to listen to, I'll turn on the radio.

I love Spotify and enjoyed Google Music when I used it. They just didn't have a good selection at the time. I'm sure it;s better by now.

If you're a student you can get spotify and google music for $5/month. It's worth every penny imo.

Agreed. I mean, it was great when Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" was on all the time, but the golden age is gone.

Yeah Stingray isn't as "free" as the others, but has a much better variety of music if you find a channel you like. It's like Pandora, but without the suck.

I use Google Music, and it works great. I used to use Spotify but switched for slightly improved integration with Android (though I'm not sure I actually got that) and most of my friends were on Google Music so we could share playlists and stuff.

It looks like the Soundcloud.com recommendation from the first page will let me play whatever band or song I want to hear at a given time. I'll see if there are any gotchas over time but so far it is good. And it plays through the browser and without a login so far.

For me it's totally worth the $5-10 to go ad free and select the song/album/artist I wanna listen to. I'm currently using Xbox Music, mostly because it isn't blocked at work, plus it integrates well with my cheapo windows phone.

Talk to me about the ease of navigation when you browse MT on a laptop tethered to a mobile hotspot while driving 70mph in traffic. Because that's what I'm doing right now. And that's what I'm often doing when I'm on the forum. I type with my right hand and steer with the left.

Interesting.

I'd wondered why I never got Pandora ads on my desktops, but the GF gets them on all of her iThings.
