Even if they get your plate they can only prove the plate was there that doesnt mean thye can prove you where driving dont be so quick to give up your rights guys we are innocent until proven guilty. the burden of proof rests on the state.

point taken, but there's no need to get out of hand with this topic, everywhere is different on how the law handles these thing I guess, But im just expressing how bad it is in florida, 2-3k is alot so I say forget it, no need to get on edge, I ment nothing bad towards you or anyone else, of course I do miss the street scene :gay:

i just want to clarify: you will take the risk of the summons and cost of an attorney or worse (should there be an accident) over the cost of a hpde or track event?

i don't think you know what you're talking about when it comes to pricing on the track days either. the most i've spent for an all day event was $275. i hate to say it, but i think someone has misguided you into believeing the track events are beyond your means.

i don't know if your fatalistic POV is supposed to reinforce your argument, but i guess darwinism will prove itself eventually.

I think his point of view comes from not knowing any better. Its fairly typical of the HS kids around here that go out and think they are amazing drivers because of their street racing ventures. No one teaches people responsibility anymore, for their lives and the lives of others.

I'm far from rich... 12hr days and hardwork allow me to spend my spare change to build my car and get it out on track. Its the only place to do it.... the ONLY.

Take it To The Track. Enthusiasts Against Street Racing. (the only sticker to ever grace my vehicles)

check it out https://store.midohio.com/c-22-racing-programs.aspx 1K + and i gotta drive to cincinnati to get a license then. test and tune is 400$
competition course is 750. Some tracks mandate a roll barr as well there is another 500 or so. Track days are expensive but if you know somebody or live where they have alot of tracks it all gets cheaper. i can drag race for 30 bucks but i dont know how many passes i will get if any last time i went i got zero, i was so pissed i never came back. I work plenty of 12 hr days but i still dont make alot of money. BTW highschool yourself.

I dont live anywhere near a track, All my racing took place in 1-2 mile strips in factory areas, not really on the street, so In a way it was secluded

i've been here for 3 months, so don't cop out on "california money".

in michigan, i went to Gingerman Raceway in the warm months. tu-th 5pm til dusk (3-4 hours), $60. Grattan Raceway was 60 minutes away, Blackhawk, Waterford Hills, Mid-Ohio were 2-5 hours away. SCCA, NASA, porrsche clubs, BMWCCA, CCA, non-marque clubs, etc. it's CHEAP AND EASY to get on a track cheaply. hell, i even got 6 laps on MIS in my Miata for FREE through a car club.

away from civilians, late at night, kind of like sanctioned racing. Some highway racing late at night, thats about it.

If you live by one itís easy. You are lucky to have so many places so close to you. If I lived by something like that I would be that whenever I could. Three days for $60, or $60 a day?
