And for the major sickness, when mated to the bell housing from an Aerostar minivan, you can have the SHO/T-56/8.8-Rear driveline.

'Tis lighter than the 5.0, but easily fits in the Miata's engine bay. Add a twin-turbo setup and hang on...

that dude rocks, and so does this car. If I recall, the SHO taurus "year to have" is a 91, because in 92 they de-tuned the engine by 40 HP because of so many warranty claims with burned up clutches.

If soflarick reads that and wishes to correct me, read it again and see the "IF I RECALL

89 was the lightest. The V8 ones are knows to have cam failures that destroy their entire engines. I had a 93 MTX with a 3.2 ATX engine swapped it. The MTX is a 3.0. It was pretty quick with the 150 shot on it.

nope, but they did have a "+" model in 91 that had little stuff like a fiberglass hood.

All of them were detuned though. The yamaha boat motor they used was good for 285 Hp as it sat. (Just had to rev it more)

F'ing aye. Maddox style.

Wow, just reread the thread. Nope, no clue on an SHO, but I heard the torque steer sucks. Almost considered buying one, once....once.

Ask me **** about 87-93 Fox body Mustangs, 94-95 Mustangs, 64-73 Pontiac GTOs, 67-69 Firebirds, Pontiac engines in general, 1980 F-100 pickups, Datsun B210s, 1982 Pontiac Bonnevilles, um, 1982 Toyota Tercels, WTF else did I drive in college.....Oh yea, Yamaha FJ1100/1200s, Maxim 650s, Ninja 1000s, crashed the Ninja and gave up riding not long after that. Driving a 1998 Olds Cutlass for a company car now. Ask me what a POS that thing is.
