I think I'm going to run the VEI gauges. The Spa gauges look great in every regard, but after a couple of those gauges I'm more than half-way to an AimDash.

Vgauges.com is where I got my VEI gauges from. They shipped out of Florida and got to me quickly.

Have a 4 in one digital or analog style readout. Threshold alerting (flashing screen) for overheating or loss of oil pressure.

I am currently running water temp, oil pressure, will be installing oil temp when I drain my oil later this week, and wideband. The sensor modules put out analog 0-5v as well if you want an additional gauge for a particular sensor.

If this was available 3 years ago I would have gone with the EGT module as well.

I try to avoid the digital gauges, as the one time I had one, I always panicked when FP went to 59psi from 62psi. With a standard gauge, that is just a minor flick. This was also on a spray car though, so maybe you have more time to process the information before making a judgment call (to back down or keep in it).

Yah it would be nice if there was a "reaction speed" for digital gauges.

That is my VEI system oil and water temp gauge. So far I have noticed that the water gauge is a little off from what TS reports as my water temp. I think there was a 5-7 degrees difference.

Which one reads higher than the other? My SPA gauge shows water temp that's about the same as TS reports on a cold engine (say 60*F) but reads about 10*F lower than TS when warmed up (180*F range). Both sensors are co-located in the reroute adapter at the back of the head.

Wondering whether aftermarket gauges are off, or the common values everybody uses for MT/TS are off, or both.

Cold engine did show closer then warm engine. I forget which one reads higher. I will check that out tomorrow. Both of my sensors are located in the reroute adapter also so I know they are both getting the same temp water.

The VEI systems gauge is the one that reads a few degrees higher then TS.
