Default tire advice for new DD

So i just bought myself a 97 nissan hardbody and i need some tires...never had a truck before so i know nothing about truck tires as far as what's good/cheap...

I need 31 X 10.50 tires...any advice on what i should get? remember this is just a DD not some mud bogging beast...like to have some tires that are offroad friendly but not 400/ea. mickey thompsons....

I've used Buckshot Maxxis Mudder tires and they are a great tire off road for the money. They're not as good in the mud as a baha-claw, but they are probably a 4/5 in mud, water, and rocks. They suck in sand though, they'll dig straight to china.

If it's a DD I'd just pick up some BF Goodrich All terain tires. They last around 40K miles, which is incredible on it's own, but they also have very good maners on the highway's. However, they are'nt cheap, but in this case you really do get what you pay for, as they last twice as long other comparable all-terains.

We sell the **** out of Toyo Open Countrys at my shop. They are supposed to do really well on road and be decent in dirt.

+1...you can't kill the BFGs. They lasted almost 50k on my Diesel Ram.
