spent all day working on the jeep..

a guy got a waggy with a blown motor for $400 and sure enough it had a D44, so I got the D44 off that and the D30 non disco front with 3.55 gears to replace my D35/D30 vacuum disco with 3.07 gears.

Went to his place, helped pull them both, came home, swapped the rear.

Hot today too

I just put new ball joints in the front 2 weeks ago so I have to drop the knuckles on both axles and press the new joints into the "new" axle. It's too ******* hot for that ****.
