I was actually thinking abut your Saab when making this thread and had hoped you would make an appearance.

I was just going to post a nice compliment about your saab, but ever since the Great Random Picture Thread Text Embargo of 2013 I am always worried about getting banned anytime I post a comment in any BS thread without a pic.

I thought the proportions where too wierd to make one look good, but dropped and leveled out with some diff wheels I think it looks pretty good.

It's a late 1980's body style Izusu Impulse... and they are nice!

 

The base 130z is pretty ugly.. a mix between not being treated right and lack of bodywork (rear bumper,side skirts, front lower bumper)... once cleaned up are very sexy.

 

So what we've decided on is that just about anything can look good with decent wheels and a more aesthetically pleasing ride height. Also it helps to remove some of the plastic "trim".

 

Not exactly. Most of those replace the stock bodywork with something else.

 

What the heck is a 130z?

And the basic shape and contour of that car is very attractive. It's ugly because of the bits tacked on to it, and even then it's really just ugly cuz it's old/safety bumper crap and stuff. At its base it's not even kindof an ugly car. ???

 

The basic shape is indeed attractive. And right thats what i mean the pieces that come tacked on to it stock as in the base model.. come it comes when you buy it. Pic bellow is stock. Then the pic after is cleaned up.

I guess another name for it is "FairladyZ" Body is very similar to the s30 240z and the 280z



I guess in my eyes i see it as the classic mustang of japan.

 

240z and 280z are the only z cars that of that vintage that I know of.

 

I know what a Z is, and what a Fairlady is... I'm confused about the 130 part. All I've known is 240z, 280, etc. I searched for a 130z on google and I just kept seeing what I've always known as a 240z or fairladyz.

 

I guess its a different model part, theres the S30, the 130z the 240z and the 280z. All use similar model different generations.
