2008 Mazda Miata Transformed by Mitsuoka into the Himiko

I think it looks brilliant.

Any thoughts?

I was very impressed.

Until I saw the blatantly Miata hardtop.

Apart from that it's pretty cool.

It would be cheaper not to mention a lot more fun to get a Factory Five Cobra kit and a donor mustang than make a miata into a cobra.

Cause they are about 5 times the retail of a miata.

It's cool, I agree the hardtop gives it away, the mirrors too, but if your not a miata person you'd probably never know.

once you factor in all the costs to make a miata look like that (which appears to involve stretching it) I bet the Aero is the cheaper option.

I doubt it was that intensive.

Do we even have a price for that miata converted morgan?

The comparisons we are making would be in much better perspective if we did.

I think it looks good and morgan should look into doing this for realz. Instead of making their frames out of wood.

If morgan did this and swapped in a good sized fast Morgan motor...**** would sell.

I came this >< close to buying a Morgan looking kit car before I got the Miata. Sexy lines to those old Brit roadsters. Not that I'd ever get one, but I do approve of the styling.

I would love to hae the cobra kit, with a mustang swap. Forget the miata.

They had those for $11,999 the other day. But you still have to buy a mustang, and do all the work. They are beautiful, and timeless. But they would suck in the winter, and are just too expensive finished.

I would prefer a new 09 camero, atleast it shouldn't leave me on the side of the road. And the heater and defroster would rock.

If I was rich, a replica Cobra would be my daily.
