Significantly. It's a swing-wing, but that's where the similarities end.
It's a single tail, the pilots sit side-by-side in the cockpit, internal weapons bay.

The Tomcat is a pure interceptor by design, decent in a dogfight, and toward the end of it's lifespan, an average striker... but orignially it's mission was to shoot Phoenix WAAAY beyond visual range defending the carrier. It was certainly never in Grumman's wildest dreams to ever drop bombs.

The F-111 was a multi-role strike aircarft... strategic/tactical bombing, reconnaissance, electronic warfare... even nuclear strike. It would get it's *** handed to it in a dogfight if you could catch it.
