That's all I heard about those, is they blow up with in a few weeks max.

I do however have a flexible hose that i bought from walmart about 8ish years ago. Its a fire fighter style hose so its soft and flexible. i've probably washed my car with it about 10 times with it and no issues of wear and tear. Perhaps the soft clear plastic hoses from ace hardware might be good?
