Waterfest in NJ? You drove down for it? I didn't go. Not a fan of VW/Audi or whatever German cars

I had a cross-flow 2.0 turbo truck once...well it was my stepfather's truck with my old 2.0t motor. Its too bad VW's are good for nothing more than hardparking and highway racing because I still miss that Corrado.

Because back in the 90's it was the biggest show for the "water-cooled" VW's, differentiating them from the old air-cooled cars.

Yeah, looks a bit gay for my taste. Looks like a bunch of homos standing around in a parking lot, way to close quarters for my junk.

I was about 3 hours away from going and running in the outlaw class. A scored cam cap had different ideas, and we snapped 3 valves after replacing 8 earlier in the week as well as a G-Force trans that decided to eat third.

In some ways I feel fortunate, as the track prep was supposedly pretty shaky. Video of the outlaw class winner's qualifying pass are skeeettcchhhyy.
