At my last house, a bunch of the neighborhood guys would get together every friday for poker. Usually $20 buy in and winner take all.

Good fun and someone would walk away with $200+. I won once.

and fun = no win cash. 20 bucks is a no problem buy-in even if you lose it all... it's still cheaper than a movie and dinner.
