Idk...
I dont love whales and feel bad for them or anything, but I realise the fact that they are part of our eco system, and since they have been hunted to the point of endangerment I dont think it should be legal internationally to hunt them.
The ecosystem is constantly changing, and humans are obviously goinmg to effect it all the time, but it only makes sense to try to keep our effects to a minimum (within reason).
I dont think that guerrilla tactics of some hippies on a boat is really the way to accomplish anything though. Im pretty sure Japan is part of the UN, seems like getting the issue addressed there would be the logical thing to do.

The punctured their hull last night by ramming a Japanese vessel, unfortunately they found it and were able to patch it. They also got into some international trouble by deliberately ramming a vessel. They were forced to harbor and had charts, computers and video footage taken from them. I think they eventually got back out to sea though. I think they should all be beaten to death for being retards then fed to the fish. How is that for helping wildlife.

If you live in a capitalist model and want to increase endangered animal population...make them food. Increasing population with whale "ranching" > eco-**** throwing bottles of **** and **** at each other.

I watched part of one episode. That's it. All I could take. It happened to be one where someone on the whale boat took a shot at them and I think shrapnel hit someone in the leg. They were indignant, shocked and freaking out about it. WTF did they expect. They are trying to ram another boat, they don't think the other boat should defend themselves?!?
The far left is just as terrifying as the far right. Fanatics suck.

TV in general sucks. Whale wars is just one of the many shitty shows that is on TV. I would rather be doing just about anything than watching cable.
My friend told me about whale wars and said it was awesome, "dude, you gatta watch it". I set my DVR to record it and by the time I got a minute to watch something it used up the whole box and didn't leave any space for UFC. I watched maybe 10 mins if that and deleted the rest.

I agree to that. If its not MMA, its either National Geographic, History, Discovery or Food. Everything else I see is pretty much ****. Most everything now is reality TV that is no longer "reality". Its all staged and ******* stupid. Not that it wasn't stupid when it was more real.

My 52" Mitsubishi **** the bed the end of June. I've been haggling with Mits since then to get it fixed. I haven't watched more than 5 minutes' worth of TV at a time other than while walking through the living room when my wife has something on the other TV-generally a baseball game. Haven't missed it in the least and I've gotten a lot more done in the shop.

Even dvds rarely make their way onto the screen. I was playing **** zombies on COD5 at least once a week on xbox live, but the DVD drive **** the bed so now I cant play that....

Thanks, Rick. My Thread was that this is done "for research".
As for the series Sons of Anarchy, it is great entertainment, It is another version of the Sopranos.
Think what you may, when we slaughter our food sources, we as humans try to do it as humanly as possible. Would you spear your cow , pig , chicken, then drag it to the processing plant? No. Then why do it to marine mammals that are the closest to us in brain size and intelligence? Meet them, on equal terms, in their environment and you will see.
Living in south Florida, I have been diving with "true", ocean free dolphins for the last 30 years. They recognize my boat and show off their families, every trip. I only go to their grounds once or twice a year, but they still "know the boat".
Yes my grammar could be in error, correct me please,( I get class credit for it). Does the period go outside or inside the parenthesis at the end of a sentence?
I am ready for the Miami Auto-x, bring it on. anyone from the Palm Beaches going?

Haha, those morons finally got what was coming to them
Supposedly the Adi Gil was attempting to tangle the whaling ship's prop and/or rudder up in a net it was dragging. After 2 hours, the Jap captain got sick of it and stuck his bow into the Adi Gil. Shameful that such a beautiful ship was lost.
