I'm documenting the trailer build on my website. In case anyone is curious, here are a few pics from the first day:

holy crap! That Miata is toast!

paul: Is that your website? I'd been looking at some of the projects documented there, especially the heatshield you made.

Looking at that guys prices makes me sick. But in a good way. I have a parts car with tons of good low mileage parts on it. By his prices (look at his other items) I have about $6000 worth of misc crap. lol.

That guy never gets any buyers because his prices are so high. Driver's airbags tend to sell for between $10 and $80. If they have the steering wheel attached, they sell for more.

Looks like a deal for what you're doing. I don't see any rust on the outside... should clean up fine.

My dumb *** was just saying that I never find any good deals. I passed up on a $350 Miata with a bad crank a few months ago. Ended up going for $1700 on ebay. I told myself that I would not make that mistake again...

heh, sorry, wrong decade/model year I guess... maybe if you sell the pax side with it as a set?

still, I think after you strip and part out and clean out the change from under the carpet, you wont have spent more than a few bucks on it net-net.

Some people say that if you deal with him local you can get better pricing but I am skeptical.
