what about an ebay thread dump?
Not another section, but a single thread that users could subscribe to and get a notice when it posted to. I'm subscribed to one on mx6.com and I've seen some very good deals on stuff pop up that others have found while shopping. There's a lot of us that are all about saving dough on our projects. Thoughts?

Good idea.
Yesterday, I was looking through a 15 page ebay search on "Miata" which brings up everything. It takes awhile to sift through, but I do it every now and then because some people list their auctions in a poor manner and one can get a good deal.
Would it basically be any "good" deal?

I think it would work to get the word out about deals... which is exactly what people looking for deals don't want. I'd also be pissed if I'd been watching something for a few days and hoping it was a secret.... only to have some knucklehead tell the world and have the bidding go through the roof. Several people have PM'd me about deals they found, but only because I've been very vocal about things I've been looking for. There is a WTB section in the classifieds. Every once-in-a-while I'll run across something and check the WTB's to see if somebody can benefit.
But if it does happen, be sure to include Craigslist... losta turbo stuff! I bought my turbo and rebuild kit there.

lOl I've but most of my DIY turbo kit on ebay...saved alot of moola too, I believe there was a add in a tuner mag or somthing with tw0 GUYs who had identical honda civics one of the guys shopped on ebay for all his parts and the other guy shoped at tuner shops and such, the only difference was the guy that shoped on ebay saved enough money to get a nitrous kit , guess he'll need it !

I'm not gonna list something that I want to bid on- just something that's a deal. Now of course that means that I might list something "you" want to bid on. But there's a lot of stuff that somebody here might want that goes unnoticed.
