That used to be true of Quebec but even they saw the light and changed the rules - everywhere that is except Montreal and Montreal sucks donkey balls. I grant you that some of us are reluctant to turn on red 'cos some of your states either don't (or used not to) allow such turns and we can't tell because your road signs are so f'd up. (I'm sorry I lied about your road signs, they're totally f'd up).:fawk:

We have the most guns, Texas possess 20% of all guns in the USA.

We can open carry a rifle.

I love Texas for all the reasons Californians and Canadians gasp in horror.

I've been to TX plenty, to Houston/Pearland/Spring where my cousins live, to San Antonio where my aunt lives, to Dallas to have a one-night stand with Trey and John, and to San Angelo for some job training. San Angelo sucks, but Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio were pretty awesome. Better, if I had a GPS, because driving in Dallas sucks. Apparently road signs are the only things which aren't bigger in Texas.. and half the roads want you to pay to drive on them.

This. The same for Tennessee too. It sucks i I can't damn open carry here. Hell I can get in trouble for someone seeing the imprint of a gun on me. Damn liberals afraid of honest citizens carrying guns. I am a Teneseean first, then a Texan. This is one of the few states I can tolerate. I would rather live in a smaller town than San Antonio though. I liked wichita falls when i was there, even though there wasn't shit to do. There is quite a bit of bullshit here in San Antonio.

GTRicky 10-04-2010 11:53 AM

i want to be in San Antonio. Mostly for the college chicks and jobs being there in large amounts.

chricto 10-04-2010 01:41 PM

If you want college chicks, Austin needs to be your destination.

GTRicky 10-04-2010 01:48 PM

but there isn't 6 figure jobs in austin for me.

Uastin sucks. Its too hot, the traffic sucks, taxes are too high...do not move there, especially if you are from Dallas or California. Don't be fooled by the hype.

jasonb 10-04-2010 01:56 PM

^^ wink wink nod nod. california sucks more. and being $19b in the hole, its guaranteed to suck more next year.

+1, actually. Austin is horrible, and I plan on moving to get away from all the suck going on here.

The hill country around Austin is awesome, but traffic can still get bad out in the sticks. I'll stick with my southern Houston paradise of Pearland. It is so much more humid on the south side of houston than it is on the north side. Oh well. You gotta pick your battles. I live on almost an acre and have a 4 car garage in the back with a lift in the driveway and no HOA.

Honestly I would move to the Grand Junction, CO area if it didn't snow there so much and all mine/my wifes family wasn't here.

The country north of SA is nice too, right around where corky's shop is. You could live there no problem and commute to SA. If i get moved to Fort Sam, I will be moving that direction.

chicksdigmiatas 10-04-2010 05:47 PM
