read a bunch of plans, listen to people bitch, then lift, eat, and go to bed. Every day is exactly the same.

 

web manager for an online store, makes it hard not to sit here all day. I have yet to turn my desk so my screen doesn't face my door, but i enjoy java nes games.


I just started building Megasquirts for people in my spare time cause I'm boring and have no life.

 

I purposely leave my laptop at home when i go on trips now(unless i'm in the miata, megasquirt), just so that while i'm on vacation for example I spend time with the g/f instead of on the forum.
We'll be talking on the forum, if there is any delayed response in my voice "Get off the forum now!". Anyway, such is life.

Craigslist, Ebay, virtual stock exchange, facebook a little, homemadeturbo, google finance ****, whatever really. I don't play games or anything so I can't throw any good ones out.

I'm usually in class while on the forum (like right now). I browse leftlanenews.com, streetfire.net, slashdot.org, hardocp.com. I'll probably go to sleep after this class and then rush to do the homework I neglected for tonight after I wake up. Ah, the life of a college student whose miata is back home. I'm considering starting playing Battefield 2 in class.

 

I'm not supposed to be on here while at work. tisk tisk.

I get to design and analyze valvetrain components (cam cores, rocker arms, lifters, belt drives) for race engines, mostly boring american V8 stuff but now and then there's something really cool (recently did some work for a reno air race lycoming). I'll have a **** load of stuff to do and then nothing for a few days.

I browse this, the local miatamob forum, my email accounts, that's about it.

Where the heck are you going to school that you have ethernet access in the classrooms? Heck, it wasn't that long ago that a few of us went on an expedition down into the basement to hack into a serial multiplexer and give ourselves network access in the dorm!

 

My major's software engineering and I already have a 2 year degree in programming. This is my first semester and I have to take the beginner programming class only because my prior classes were in c++ and .NET and this school likes Java. At least it gives me time to plan what I'm gonna do to the car when I get home.

 

I usually check out the new posts here, scan craigslist for possible winter cars, check out facebook, and then start paying attention to my lectures. My roommate usually plays flash games online during our classes.

 

We also have wireless in all classrooms/lounges and ethernet in the dorms. But all that greatness is countered by the fact that the male:female ratio is 9:1. In my current class, it's 20:1.

 

Same here, except we have 2:1 girls to guys.

 

I check in here a few times a day. The rest of the time I'm either doing contracts or packaging design. I seem to spend a lot of time trying to help my idiot co-workers make time run backwards.

 

yeah i get it wireless on the entire campus (most of the city), but i don't get to use a computer in any of my classes yet so i have to go to the lab before and after class then browse around this place

my gf bitches when i'm on here to, i try to tune her out but then a fight starts if something major happens i'll just sue philip
