What do you guys think of the G37 Sport
Hey everyone,
I wanted to invoke your opinions on the G37. Their are some good deals to be had right now since they are releasing the Q50 in 3 months and I am thinking of pulling the trigger. We test drove a G37x last weekend and my wife and I both concluded that it is a pretty nice car. I thought it had a great engine, great seats and pretty luxurious. Its obviously no BMW but for the price no one expects it to be. I am seriously considering going all out and picking up a Sport sedan. Going to be leasing for 24 months. I know I know, leasing is bad. But its not my first. Is there anything wrong with this car that I should be aware of or any reasons I should consider a competing model? Thanks. |

I edited my post to reflect. |
They are pretty sweet. I loved the one I drove a while back.
My friend (who owned it) said it got pretty bad gas mileage. Other than that, no complaints. |

If you are leasing, what would it matter? Get the car you like and move on.

did you guys look at the is250 awd?
|
he owned an is250 as well (non-awd tho).
extremely nice car/interior. gas mileage so so. performance was sad. just sad. on par with a corolla |
ew.
I'm not trying to discourage the infinity, but I like how the is looks as well. the g37x is on our list to replace the prelude with. |
Had an 09 G37 and loved it - Just traded it in for an M. Mine was the straight G37 - no x and no sport packages.
It's got most of the benefits of the BMW 335 without the corresponding price tag. The first year of the 7AT had a big surge on the 3>2 downshift, but they've fixed that with a bigger throttle blip by the computer. Other than that, the car was fantastic and had zero problems. Very nice car to drive whether you're on the highway, city or country roads. If you pull the trigger on a sedan and want a short ram intake (way better sound at WOT), holla - I took mine off before trading the car in. |
they sound amazing with an intake
|
I hear you can fit 315s on the stock wheels under the stock fenders of the G35, would assumed the G37 is the same.

I didn't mean from a reliability perspective, but more along the lines of it doesn't do X as good as a TL OR you will have to deal with X while you have it.

Yea, I hear you. All the ruskies on g37nyc complain about that. But knowing how most of us drive, are you surprised?

The "X" is awd, correct? I didn't realize how much that killed mileage, my 350Z got pretty decent mpg considering.
The other bitch is it takes Premium. |
you could always get the g27...

I like the G37. Not so crazy about 24 month leases. |
Ive driven a G37S a few times (belong to my step father)
The suspension feels pretty good, nice steering responce, decent engine. Its an autotragic, so that made it quite lame regardless of all that. Also the seats are uncomfortable. |
