I have a graduate degree in science and do sales/marketing for a drug discovery tool company (we make reagents for high throughput DNA sequencing). My role is primarily key accounts over ten states, so needless to say I travel a lot. Normally I'm in two to three cities a week.

Well it seems that nobody has a career even close to what i do. I teach Special Education, which is a job i sort of fell into almost unwillingly and ended up loving it completely. I am in my second full time year and I have a BA in liberal studies. I currently am an aide for an autistic child and plan to aquire a position as an intern teacher next year.

Ya I know you other guys make a lot more money, but i get a lot of time off and my job is a blast (for me at least, it takes a certain personality)

My hat is off to Pitlab77 and Akaryrye.

Don't let the system sour you. Remember, it's for the kids; not the hierarchy.

I've been working long enough to know it ain't about the money. You spend the majority of your waking life working and if you hate, you'll be a pretty miserable person. Reason to rejoice if you're doing something you like and making a living - IMO. - rob

Nuclear engineer specializing in electrical engineering, used to be on a submarine, but now have to move to the surface side and go to a carrier. In the navy currently, but only have about a year left, so, will be looking for a job after that.

Automated systems consultant with experience in residential, commercial, and mdu, but specializing in the design of high end media rooms and systems. Dropped out of college 1 semester short of an AE after a temporary winter holiday job panned out. So we almost had two rocket scientists here. Also learning CAD so I won't have to outsource.
