What SINGLE turbo for a SBC?

We (Jesel) have a ~3xx CI engine making over 1500hp with two GT4294R's with killer spool. So one should be able to handle your 750 hp requirement I'd guess.
Actually that 1500hp is at a relatively high rpm so maybe that turbo would be a little small for 750 hp at "street-car" rpm levels. I'm guessing here but I think at 6000rpm it was only around 1200hp.

Remember....the 4088 is more than enough compressor. It has a huge turhbine wheel and housing though. Thats what will let it work on the V8. Just like you would never put a t3/t4E with a .48 housing and the standard turbine wheel on a 6 cyl even though it may have a decent 57 trim t4 compressor wheel on the cold side. You go to a stage III wheel and a .63 housing on the hotside though, and now you have something that will let you lay down 400 whp at 20 psi on a 2.8 instead of choking like a 16 year old cheerleader giving her first BJ.
