Default What is your fav Tuner mag?

Why do you like it and what do you enjoy reading most of the magazine, I like the tech articles and build ups of project cars.

I get electronic gaming monthly and discovery magazine lol. I hate car mags personally. They are about as bad as the show pinks.

I voted Modified since it's the only "tuner" magazine I have a subscription to. I picked up a Sport Compact Car mag a few weeks ago and it actually had some decent subjects and tech articles. I also have subscriptions to Grassroots Motorsports and Motorcyclist.

I currently subscribe to:

Motor Trend
Car & Driver
Sport Compact Car
GRM
Sportscar
Cycle World

Hate the word "tuner" too.

Turbo and High Tech Performance. But 15 years ago, it sucks now-a-days. GRM is great but the rest are pretty much garbage.

I picked up a Modified mag on a whim two years ago on a trip to Hawaii, and I was thorougly impressed. Lots of feature articles on cars that actually impressed me, like a 270rwhp S2000 and a CLEAN white Civic hatchback with 251fwhp. When all my magazine subscriptions come up for renewal this year, I'm switching my European Car to GRM and adding Modified to the list as well. I've been getting SCC for 2+ years now and every issue is great.

I won't even read a C&D if it's given to me. Horrible magazine.

SCC was pretty shitty last year, but the new editor seems to be turning things around now, the last few issues have been pretty good.

Sport Compact Car, and Grassroots Motorsports for me.. Both aren't on the list though

Import Tuner, Super Street, Modified, all get the from me but they just aren't my thing.. SCC has about as much "bling" as I care to read about.

Sport Compact Car is the only one that I buy. It seems to be getting better but way to short.

I can't stand the writing in Import Tuner. It's awful!

You know those ricers on forums that are all like "You;re car is stupid. I could beat you in my D-series. All the wrest of you can SOHC my d1ck. ahahaa.lolol.kekekek!!!11!!" ?

Yeah, apparently, when they grow up, they get jobs writing for Import Tuner.

lol.... I read most of em..... I have a horrible magazine habit!!!!!!!

every month I buy modified, SCC, D-sport, import tuner and super street..... I must have like 300 magazines in my room right now, and a bunch of em strewn about the house......

some months I leave out Import tuner and Super Street, because they annoy me sometimes..... But I always manage to find something in each mag that interests me....

sometimes I catch myself buying Honda Tuner for my brother, hoping he'll start buying parts or the RSX again..... I'll pick up Maxim or FHM sometimes too if the Chick on the cover is particularly hot.....

grm. still get SCC but after all their promises of "no more misspellings and thicker issues!" it's thin and poorly spelt.

plus grm is about the only magazine that doesn't try to pick a political side.
