what's up with buying mulch anyway? around here the townships take all the leaves and **** from the fall and sit them in big piles and when they're ready they move them out into an area where you can just go throw in trash cans or whatever you got for free

Not all townships do that though. Also, bagged mulch is usually pasteurized, so you don't get no weedies.

I've carried a sheet of plywood, but I had it ripped nearly down the center first. 6 ft countertop, tons of 2x4s, big mirrors, a bunch of Ikea flat-pack stuff.

Plenty fits in this car, but I just installed a Curt Vertical trailer hitch, and I'll be picking up a Harbor Freight trailer soon. Lol, the hitch has a sticker that says not to exceed 3000 lbs!

I hauled four 1.6 engines with my Miata. In a single trip.

I've not hauled objects that couldn't fit in the trunk with the Miata. (The benefit of not only having multiple vehicles, but also a father and brother with multiple vehicles.)

However, I did once fit 10 people in a '76 Honda Civic two door and made the five mile trip from school to Baskin-Robbins...

Hauling large things in little cars is always fun. People can't seem to decide which reaction is needed to a little toy car with a pickup truck amount of material in it. Best thing I've ever carried was a 55'' DLP projection tv home from Circuit City in the back of my 1st gen RX7 (TINY). I didn't know if it would fit, but we chanced it and it BARELY fit. Also carried some decently large stuff in the Miata. Engine blocks, exhaust systems, other human size objects.

I stuffed a full sized portable basketball hoop set up, that was still in the box, into my wife's Mini Cooper. The look on the peoples face when I got there was classic. They pulled it out of a Caravan with the seats folded down. The Cooper cobbled that **** up like a **** in a porno. I was able to close the hatch, but the 20 mile drive home was miserable as I was right on the steering wheel.
