Eh, well went ahead and snapped the oem ecu into its harness. Amazingly it started up and ran. Not entirely elegant, not entirely efficient, but it'll work. Here's how it ran (first start, cold, not been run since Sunday)
Yes, that's a 1.6, factory ecu, factory unmodified/unmolested afm.

Mine has been sitting in a parking lot since October waiting patiently.

Mine is on 4 jackstands and the poor rx-7 is outside with snow on it. But yeah, at least I'm not in Iraq, only Detroit (although that may be temporary with the way things are going here...)

Drove mine today... been too busy to do any work to my Miata, or else it would currently be on jack stands.

Mine has one 15" wheel and 3 17"s.. its rocking a gangster lean, but it kind of moves!

Drove mine today in the warm weather, top down, turbo working great. Then i put it back up on jackstands where it belongs to put new axxis ultimates, rotors, and ATE super blue in her.

mine hasn't been on jack-stands since the engine swap last summer... I don't understand why you fellas keep breaking your shit:dunno:

it used to be, but i dont think he's washed it since he's bought the damn car! ;)

mine left the stands for about 40min on sunday, then back on the stands sunday evening... should be leaving the stands again today :)

Mine's sitting on top of 4" of snow, I had to brush another 8" off of it this morning. We're supposed to get another foot of snow this week.

Spring break starts next Friday, so I'll get it home in our heated garage and put in my 315cc injectors. Maybe I'll find out what no traction in 5th gear is like.:bigtu:

both of mine are off the stands thankfully. I generally get a project done and the car back on the road as quickly as possible.

Awesome, where's the autocross at? I'll be going to the dragon this weekend on my way to Charleston, SC. Bunch of us are going that way.

Mine has been on stands for about a month or so now. Finally lowered back down last weekend. Maybe I will get to drive it this weekend. :x:

411 dragway, same place I got my 1/8th mi time. its only about 15min from UT. There are actually 2 races on sat and sunday, first by porsche club, second by the SVT Mustang club. They're turning it into a dirt track, this will be the last autocross there. I've done it once before, was a blast.

My '91 hasn't been off the ground for anything but fluid and tire changes during the past 12K miles. Even went on a couple of runs last week. I'm a happy camper:gay:

which reminds me, last time I changed the oil I didn't even jack the car up :gay: I juuuuust had enough room to slide the oil pan under it and get the drain plug out :)

I usually drive up on 2 2x4s and that's plenty of clearance for on the ground oil changes.

The beauty of having no money for mods... I drove to/from work yesterday and today with the top down!

unless you've got my luck....then you're stuck at school 200 miles from your miata because it has a blown rear-diff that you can't afford to replace!!:vash:

One day I too hope to have a lift. That will require me graduating, getting a good job, and buying/building a house to my liking that will have a tall enough ceiling for one.

I spent an afternoon clearing out my driveway and we got another foot two days later. I am seriously sick of this shit. I let out my aggression on the civic, gonna need some new snow tires.
