My hat's off to you!

What a game!

Well done USA!

You guys rock!

This is the first time you guys qualify to the next round. Hell; it's the first time you guys don't lose the last game!

You deserve it. You're first in your group too over England!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm you're wrong. In 2002 USA made it to the round of 16, where they beat mexico 2-1. Then moved on to lose 1-0 against germany in the round of 8.

What a ******* game.

uhh...lol wut?

I think you're thinking of Argentina.

EDIT: And they lost to Germany in a shootout after 1-1 in regulation and overtime. This was after also playing overtime against Mexico but avoiding the shootout. Host country went to the quarterfinals due to the only part of soccer I really don't like (besides lack of ref accountability). The PKs can go either way, and don't really determine the best team.

England also went home in the same round, same fashion.

EDIT 2: I actually hated to see the WC won on penalty kicks.

Bro what the **** are you talking about? There was no 1-1. Germany won 1-0, look it up. I just remember USA also made the second round (16ths) in 1994, when they were hosting the world cup.

You're partially right. in 2002 USA did indeed move on to the round of 16 but they had never won the third game of qualifying (nor had they tied one either).

BTW, I've missed your comments after Honduras loss to Spain

Here you go you bunch of ignorant sons of bitches. The fartest USA has made it was to the round of 8th (quater-finals)

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/worldcu...n=2002&cc=5901

EDIT: Damon there were no "shootout" in 2002 for USA. The score in the Mexico game was 2-0

EDIT for Rafa: What can I say they played like pussies, and the coach fucked up AGAIN by letting Guevara play, and making bitcth subs. It was a long shot to win, but we could've at least played better.

Oh ****, I read 2006. The mention of Germany as host should have given that away though.

Germany would also have to win group, and D is as up in the air as we were. I hope we end up against Serbia or Ghana this round, and take Germany in quarters too. But then we eventually get buttfucked by Argentina after they wipe their asses with the Central Americans in their path.

Im not worried about Argengays. They have yet to play a really competitive team. By that I dont mean Mexico will be. At this point Idk how I feel about that game, I hate both just as much.

In the case Argentina goes through, I hope that so does Ururguay. I think they would want a re-match to the last qualifier game they lost to the Argenfags.

It is real time, but distorted by the ref's perception of time.
