Guy at the local 1/8 mile told me this. I used to bracket race my 94 t-bird w/ a 5.0 swap I did. 2.2 was the best 60' I could ever get in the car. It was a heavy car and it liked to spin out of the hole. He suggested turning the tires around as it would help traction. 2.1's every time after that.

My brother got a crossfire as a rental when he visited me, back when I lived in the US. I do not know what model it was, but the manual claimed a 0-60 timof 6.4sec, IIRC. That must mean that my non FI Miata (see sign) is somewhat blessed, because it humiliated the crossfire bad at every stoplight.

It really is a butt ugly car, isn't it? What the hell where they thinking?
