Ill back you up . . . I have been in your garage rumaging thru all your miata parts in the last 2 weeks... you dont have any Mtuned rods, lol

(btw I have your 99 throttle body sitting in my car for next time we meet up)

FWIW idk what the description of the package was, but i NEVER give details beyond "car parts" for the fear that some loser at ups / usps / fedex would see the description and decide to have an early xmas.

Thanks mang, we gotta meet so I can get that tb. Good point on the shipping thing too.

The only time I have ever put a detailed description beyond 'car parts', the box showed up at the buyer's house with a PnP harness and missing the AEM ecu. Don't you just love fedex.

I hope you find your rods man.

Well now I am rapidly loosing faith in usps' ability to safely ship items. I got a piece of cardboard in the mail that should have had an oil pump in it :( Hopefully the bad luck up front will mean my build will go off without any problems...here are some things to look at other than words:

Rod package:

So wait.....you just got a piece of cardboard? No oil pump?

If that's the case then damn man that sucks. USPS has been good to me (knock knock) but I know plenty of others that have had issues with them. For me its UPS that eats a fat dick.

Any chance your carrier dislikes you or has a miata of his own? jk

This has happened to me. Shipped an IAT sensor and something else. The buyer opened the package and the IAT sensor was gone somehow. He accused me of not sending it so I had to purchase a new one and have it drop shipped to him to keep my name in the clear. Glad to hear i'm not the only one.

I think I may not use USPS anymore. Flat rate boxes rock but this really blows...

They also raised all the pricing. Even on flat rate shit.

I noticed it last week when I was printing out labels for a couple small flat rate packages. Used to be $4.95 and now its $5.20. :vash:

So bring this situation to a close the seller was E-NA6CE and he is now ignoring my phone calls and emails. The last email he sent me (2 months ago when we decided to wait and see if usps would be able to find the rods) he stated he would at the least give me the $100 insurance money that was refunded to him. So in short I would not make a purchase from him again because he will most likely not man up to his mistakes (in my case insuring my rods for only $100 without asking me if it would be ok to do so) again.

The other lost package worked out (the seller sent me a new oil pump).
