Still haven't shot it yet, but go the scope mounted up. Just a note, those are Weaver rings on the Picatinny rail... fit perfect. I got them out of the bargain bin at Academy for $3. Adjustable accutrigger is very nice for a "stock" system.
Now to figure out how to hide a suppressor purchase from the wife... pay for everything in squirrel'd away cash.

That lower and upper aren't staying together, have a DPMS lower on the way to add another pound to the already 12 pound rifle...

Far as the pull goes, it's the same length as the telescopic piece of ---- the rifle had but is very comfortable. Idea with the stock/lower is I'm still trying to build a 4.5 pound complete rifle so I'm cutting weight in any way I possibly can.. The bare skeleton stock (frame and pad) don't weigh much less than the plastic POS buttstock that came on that lower, but I never weighed the A2 extension tube however I assume it's much less than an "m4" tube... Have an idea how to make the A2 tube even lighter, though...

School me in scopes for hog hunting at night. Is there anything good under 300? I'd prefer to be able to use it in daytime too and have 3x8 power.

Redi-Mag installed. Now I just need to toss a B.A.D. lever on there for absurdly fast mag changes.

Got the gaming rig together also.

do you really fine those fagbull levers necessary? I find that I can change mags quick enough with just the original configuration and I don't like a bunch of extra stuff hanging off my gat.

Man, I shot a rat last night with my .20 old Sheridan pump pellet gun twice and he still hobbled away. I was all out of subsonics and my neighbors already hate me so the rat got away. :-(

Because of my retardedly large scope and my big *** hands I actually find it useful on my heavy barrel sporter. Makes it really easy to lock the bolt open without juggling the rifle around like a retard, especially since you can't get ahold of the charging handle with your right hand. Magazine changes? Not really necessary IMO.

Don't need modifications to reload an AR fast.

Then there's Jerry Miculek and his Revolver reloads:

He can do it blindfolded too.

So my AR will weigh a hair over 8lbs... and the lever isn't just for reloads. Useful for quick clearing and failure checking.

If I Sharpie "colt"on it, would it make it better?

I do intend to try some competitions with this AR, so speed will benefit me.

Just make sure you spend no less than $185 on a flashlight for it.

It came with a Surefire and offset Daniel Defense mount... remember the picture I posted on the dining room table with all those accessories? It came with all of that 'stuff' including the Aimpoint CompM4....

So technically.. the Aimpoint and the Flashlight value... means I got a free AR under them

Pusha, have any carbine barrels laying around that might be cheap and for sale?
