You and me both. Wasn't the line up supposed to be Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, and Tim Allen? All in their own rights car guys, but the beauty of TG is it is three nobody's doing a fun show about fun things to do with cars. Well, they're not nobody's now....

From what I read, they flew the real stig in for the pilot for continuety purposes.

Adam Corolla is the host, Leno did refuse the job. Their goal is to keep the show as similar to the BBC version as possible. The test track is at an old military base in California.
