When your 2200Lb 4 banger roadster gets the same MPG as your neighbours H2

magnamx-5 08-05-2007 05:39 AM

only if you are doing it wrong or goin real fast. if i get 20 or less mpg i have avoided several jail worthy points where i would be screwed. Mostly i get about 22-25 mpg though and still drive quite fast and agressivly.

akaryrye 08-05-2007 07:02 AM

Ive seriously spent like 3-4 times on modifications, upgrades, and repairs than I did on the original purchase of the car :) worth it? Hell ya!

I went real fast, and had a bad tune with a powercard. (-= I'm sure with the BEGI Afpr mileage will be much better. (I was getting 16-18 City on average NA) I don't know what type of mileage I will get with the BEGI kit on.

I'm pretty sure this applies to N/A Miatas as well. I find that I simply cannot obey speed limits.

that7guy 08-06-2007 01:03 AM

When your car isnt running more often then it is, and you are fine with that becasue it is damn fast when it does run!

This is basically it. When people ask me what my car costs, I have to give them two numbers: The purchase price, and the price to duplicate it in its current form.

The latter number is four times the former. :td:
