How did you figure that one out was there alotof, taste testing?

I rarely drink but when i do i want it pure Bacardi/vodka dont matter either pure or with redbull. I can not drink alone i have tried, big waste. I am to paranoid to drink at bars cause i think the cops would get me on the 70 mile drive home from most bars i can go to. I dont have freinds who do partys. In this country you will be lucky to see me drinking, Germany on the other hand is different hell i can walk home most of the time there so all i gotta do is be able to stand and shuffle.

another vote for rum here. used to drink a ton of vodka but for the past few years it's been rum. I usually end up drinking more beer though

I have recently been converted to a whiskey man. Current flavor of choice is Jameson.

Me too, I'm a BV man though. Good flavor and cheap (hey I'm in college) usually mixed with coke and water.

Liquor for me only. Jager bombs and pineapple rum with oj are the two favorites.
No beer, wine, or champagne. Just can't acquire the taste for it.

Mixed? G & T on a warm evening at the barbeque is damn near perfect. I generally don't like straight liquor because; A) I get wrecked in a ******* hurry, and B) 99% of it tastes like ****. I've had some expensive scotch (bought some for my best man) and it was not pleasant. Tasted like drinking a campfire. The best liquor I've had on taste alone was some banana rum from a really tiny distillery in Jamaica (like so small the label was hand painted). That was some good ****.

Beer? Blue Moon at the moment, I'd say. Don't like hoppy stuff, more malty and chocolate/rye flavors are my favorite, but it's unfortunately easy to stumble onto a coffee/bitter taste judging just by the color. Wheat beer is usually good too.

Wine? I prefer white for casual drinking over most reds, usually sweeter ones like Riesling or a good Gewurtz. Moscato's are interesting but usually kinda weak (under 10% ABV). I prefer wine in general since it relaxes my body more rather than stuffing my brain like liquor can easily do. Great for relaxing after work.

To be honest though my favorite wine, and what I prefer most of the time when I'm just drinking around the house looking for a relaxed buzz, is sweet vermouth. It's usually used as a mixer, but as an aperitif it's really damn good. A spicy, almost cinnamon taste with a caramel-ish finish. My wife loves it too, though most people I've made try it don't share our opinion. If you've never had it, give it a try. Most groceries have bottles for around $4, more if you go for Martini & Rossi, which doesn't taste any better. Plus it's cheap as **** at Trader Joes. $4/L FTW! And it's technically a red so I can fool myself into thinking I'm drinking for my health! Also quite strong for wine (or any non-liquor, really) @ 16% ABV. Tastes great, cheap, and goes to my head after about half a glass.

After rereading my post I think I may have a problem. Ah well, **** it all.

You get #9 in DC?

I used to hand carry a case (which is only 18 bottles) to my friend in Dallas 4x a year before the 'liquid bann' on flights

DC's not far from Vermont. I've had a few different magic hat beers... lets see.. jinx, 9, circus boy and some others I can't remember. check their website. they have a "where to find" thing.

best beer selection around is Whole Foods by far.
