or risk of loosing a finger. a guy who worked for my dad did that dumb ****, stuck his hand in the belt, and lost 3 fingers. 2 1/2 got stitched back on. After the surgery, rehab, and paid time off, the guy tried to sue my dad for the loss of his 1/2 finger, and his wife tried to sue my dad for loss of sex (yes, that is a legal thing, your spouse can sue whoever caused your injury if they are not 'fulfilled' during your rehab). The judge said and have a nice day.

Funny, I was going to start "Miata.net's Asshat Post of The Week" thread, but I'm afraid Mr Miataga (or whatever) would dominate it each week. The guy makes me want to punch babies....

"The Miata has a throttle cable, so there's no drive-by-wire to smooth it out"

Obviously that guy hasn't driven many manual drive-by-wire cars.

This is why insurance is so ******* expensive. What a ******* tool, the judge should've added insult to injury and fined them for wasting taxpayer dollars on such a frivolous lawsuit.

I don't remember which finger or which hand it was that had the finger they couldn't fix fully, but I actually exagerated the loss. In reality, he only lost about 1/3 of an inch or so from the tip. They fixed it up and somehow got his nail back on and everything. That finger was just shorter than it used to be; looked pretty decent, but not perfect. Pretty neat what they can do these days.

I think my dad's been sued for various retarded **** about 6 times since he started his business around 20 years ago. It's pretty much gone the same way each time. The judge says, "you want how much for what? **** you. dismissed."

All the more reason for the judge to have fined them for retardation... and the lawyer who helped them. 1/3 of an inch, when you're talking dick size 1/3 of an inch might as well be a sex change in terms of mental devestation but comon, on my finger? That's just that much further I have to dig in my nose. It's not like the guy was a proctologist or something.
