Default seriallink

Sorry for this post, but unfortunately I cannot contact user TurboRoach via PM(need 15 posts before I can send a PM).
I am looking for a seriallink which he seems to build sometimes, because obviously I lost mine. If someone knows how to get in touch with him please let me know. I´m living in Germany, so things are a little bit more difficult for me.

Also in need of a serial link or replacement. If anybody knows where to find one I'd appreciate it.

I looked over the classifieds here and some of the other miata forums

Btw, I did send a pm to TurboRoach, not sure if he is still building his version or if he logs on to the forum much.

Thanks in advance,
Craig

He wants a serial link. He NEEDS a real ECU.

That's where you come in Brainy.

I just bought this Turbo 97, I first want to make it work properly with the Link it came with and my keypad isn't working!

A serial link with a Palm Pilot will probably be the cheaper replacement.

I will consider an upgrage to a MS3 later, when my budget will allow it.

hey i have a serial link and i can make serial links it takes a while as i have two little kids now and a supper busy job. i went threw the same think with my link a few years back and ended up fining out that you have to get one straight from LINK in new-zealand it costs about $150 and $100 shipping if i remember right so i decided to make my own. then after making one i found the original in the trunk way back in next to the gas tank

and yes you need a link if you want to do any tunning at all and run DLL and or RTLink you need it!!! Data Log Lab,Flyin' Miata : RTLink

Im in need of one as well. I have the ribbon cable, but when i bought the car, neither the handheld or the cable that mates to the ribbon can be found. So in essence, I need something that will connect straight to the ECU and has a USB plug on the other end, or some sort of interface.

Can someone help out?

Anybody have the scoop on what the electronics are in this bad boy? And ive been told someone here can make these via some Radio-Shack skills with a solder gun.

Id love to get my hands on one without having to fork over money on a MSPNP. I understand how great they are, but id like to at least my ride tuned for now, and move on from there.

Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for that?
