I'm heading down to Oregon this weekend for a hill climb near Tillamook, OR and would love to make it a double awesome trip and do a track day somewhere in the PNW on Monday or Tuesday. I looked on motorsportreg but there isn't anything posted for those days. Any days anyone knows about at ORP, Pacific Raceways or Portland? I'd even be willing to go as far as Thunder Hill.

If you're willing to drive another 3-4 hours south of Thunderhill there's a HPDE event at Laguna Seca on Monday. I'll be there with my 95.

 

That's a long drive :O. Hill Climb finishes on Sunday night so I would have to leave that night. I would LOVE to go to Laguna though...

What's the entry cost? Any link?

 

Yeah that's pretty far. Mapquest says 12 hours... unless I stayed in Redding or something for a few hours rest and drove the rest in the early morning...

Although it looks like that is the only place with car stuff happening. All the other tracks have m/c track days. :(. I'll think about it... it would be awesome.

Unfortunately, LS is not cheap and HOD is a bit more expensive than the average group. LS also has a 92 db sound limit at most events including this one. There's a $40 discount if I get someone to sign up - that's yours if you make it. Looks like there are only Advanced/Race prepped slots left.

 

I'll have to do some number/time crunching. My car is a prepped solosprint car and I have a race license/log book so I don't see it being an issue running in advanced.
