A company is waving $120k post income tax at my GF. I may let her go because not too many of the "pros" listed excite me. It makes me super sad to pick, and this car is super-duper cool.

120K is enough to live pretty well..even in new england.
If shes worth it man id come to RI. Dont forget there are other less popular tracks in new england. New Hampshire Motor Speedway has their own road course (its not GREAT tho)
Theres also Poccano and now the new track in NY montecello (i think thats what its called)

The north east is nice spring through fall, winter can suck if you dont like the cold. Doesnt mean you cant have fun tho, i love driving with over a foot of snow on the roads in my 4X4 and watch people be stupid and get stuck. Your car will run a lot cooler up here then in Texas. Limerock from what im told is beat up but watkins glen is all the rave. Also this means i can get you to join our car club in CT call east coast tuners. =] We have a bunch of meets, BBQ, and events we run. Members car range from syclones, NSX, vipers, R35 gtr, lambos, and miata.
Also to add in people range in age from 20-35.

Some people hate it, some people love it. Winter sucks dick, summer doesn't get Texas hot and spring/fall are probably the best times of the year.
Although I hate the winter I put up with it because the change of scenery is nice. I think I'd get bored without seasons.

we can get 100+ degree summers and -20 degree winters. but like the saying goes. "if you dont like the weather wait 10 minutes"
we had a day here last week where it was sunny and fairly warm. then it got very windy and then it was a blizzard outside for about 2 mins then went back to sunny again all in about 20 mins time

Ill be working on the MINI or Miata ... too much to do on my cars!
As for the Uconn show. . . Keep looking here and at the main post for updates. There have been some recent issues as far as uconn Police canceling our loudest exhaust competition as well as claiming that ALL cars need to be 100% street legal or they may be ticketed.
Basically they are shoving it up our asses. . . So the show may be moving to a new location.

I probably won't start till 7 if you want to come by that late in the day. Today/tonight I need to seal everything up on the bottom end (pumps + oil pan), install the head studs, prime the oil pump, and bolt the head on. I think that is do-able in my 4 hour work-on-car time block.
