Definitely don't need to get into a car accident in the first big snow of the season. I am sure there will be a lot of meatheads out there driving their suv's and pickups into stationary objects. A lot of those less than intelligent individuals traverse 32 often.

i had a MINI tailgating me all the way down 32 (and 32 was a mess). Apparently I am missing something and I should have been doing 75 down the back road in my MINI ?? dumbasses.

LOL i had a guy in a white work van that was pulling a car dolly with a ford exploder. So im in the middle lane heading north on I95 and this guys goes flying pasted me towing the exploder and here i am doing 45-50mph. so he had to be doing 60-65mph and he is passing me im watching the exploder he is towing wobble and im saying to my self he is going to spin out when we get to the turn up ahead. what do you know as soon as we get to the turn he ends up from the far left lane to the right off the road in the snow. the exploder cam off the dolly and tipped and he was facing the road. so i drove by flashed my high beams and gave him a thumbs up for dumb ass of the day.:fawk:

How do your cars act in the cold with the cops? Mine didn't want to do anything for the first 5 minutes but after a bit of keeping on the throttle she was ok. My driveway is another story :(

My cold start isnt as good as it was before COP's... but once its running its fine.

Before my cold start wasn't bad, idle was a little low and rough. Now it was backfiring (before it would start) and once I got it running it seemed like one of the cops wasn't firing. The car was already warmed up when we swapped over so I think that is why it was so smooth when we started it. Once she was warmed up she was happy but I had ZERO traction...something about sand, salt, and 30* pavement :)

yeah last time i drove my car i couldnt get into it at all...even in 3rd.

if it started rough because the cranking is a bit off it could have soaked one of the plugs with fuel. sometimes mine does that and then it runs on 3 cyl till the plug clears up.

So who wants to help put the 13b back in my miata once i get the clutch???

I just finished digging out and it is more like 4" Makes for a nice effect and small amount of work.

LOL I just started my car and drove it out of the snow then cleaned and put it back. We ended up with a good 12-14inches.

We got about 13" here. The plow guy didnt show up and I had to shovel the whole thing. This is a driveway that is probably...350ft or more with a large parking area by the garage. I could've killed the fucking guy lastnight I was so mad! :vash:

He came about 1 hour after I had finished and was already changed and drinking a coffee watching tv. I was debating going outside to talk shit, but I knew it wouldn't be good. lol

Luckily I dont pay him, otherwise it would be a different story. The people we rent from go to FL for 6 months out of the year and this is their plow guy. So we get to chill out on 7 acres of nice property, but have to upkeep it when the "help" doesn't show up.

That sucks we have a drive way just 30 feet under a 1/4 mile. The plow guy we have ended up getting stuck in the front lawn trying to turn around and took out a bush and a jap maple tree. So that was the last time they are coming again.

That sucks man. That guy would not be getting paid if he did that in my yard. You guys ready for round 2?!

6:30 am. rt 99 was plowed, rt 9 WAS NOT. in fact the on ramp in cromwell (about .5 miles long) was not plowed once. I had to "plow" thru 12" of snow just to get on rt 9!!!

It was a CLUSTERFUCK when i got home from work with everyone trying to get there cars out for the plows. Makes me wonder how i got to work no problem thismorning.

We only got 14" here. It was silly heavy snow though.

This guy was so dumb i was tempted to hop into the drivers seat. I swear he has never seen snow. At one point he tried to drive his trailer over a 4 foot snow bank and had it well past a 45 degree angle. I thought it was gunna flip.

this snow is pissing me off, i cant wait to get to Guam then Hawaii next year. No snow just a lot of rain. whats nice is since my car wont be sold the navy is going to pay for me to drive it home then ship it to Guam. Plus my tax return is going to be enough for my to get my car dynoed and tuned properly so it will run normally. Any one know a dyno shop that will tune mega squirt?

Sneaky, when are you going to guam? When you get there/hawaii change your plates to local plates asap. I know when I got to hawaii and still had ct plates I had bottles thrown at me on the hwy. Once I got hawaii plates it was all good though.

I have to be in guam the 28th of feb. Im changing my plates as soon as i get my car there. From what i understand the navy is going to pay me to drive home then i have to handle my flight from va beach to guam since the tickets the navy will hand me will be from groton to guam. If they do pay me ill be looking a a good chunk of change to drive home with and new stuff for the miata. maybe the fastback top and wide body from autokenixion, but thats only if they do pay me which they should, i did my travel brief yesterday and the guy said i would have two days to drive and 16.50 per mile on my car.

I just got in after 5 hours on the roof in snow up to my god damn knees!! If it was just snow it wouldn't have been too bad, but because it was everything we've got so far it was a fucking nightmare! Snow on top of ice on top of snow on top of ice. :vash: Once the snow was off I spent another half hour with a hammer and chisel working on the frozen gutters. I'm 100% exhausted.

I had a good experience with Ted, but that was like 4 years ago. I had him tune my Greddy turbo and Emanage setup. I gained quite a bit from the tune and the drive home had me smiling ear to ear.

He was definitely a "harsh" kind of guy, but I work with guys like that all the time so I'm used to it. By the end of the session I'd say we got along pretty well and he even gave me a little tour of the shop. His kid was there too and made sure I checked out his MR2 project that had about triple the money into it than my miata did at the time.

Honestly, I'd go somewhere else. Not because Ted is a dick on the phone, but because there's more experienced tuners out there. They are the shop to go to if you have a chevelle or mustang.....not a faggy miata. lol
