Default NASA-MA at VIR : October 7-8

Anyone other than @FatKao and myself planning to head to VIR this coming weekend?

I'm registered to race in PTE, car #53. We have six cars registered in PTE, hopefully there's some good racing on the cards.

If you're around at all this weekend stop by and say hi. Dark blue '99 with lime green MKTurbo stickers, a crappy brown Dodge Ram, and a black open trailer. I should be fairly easy to find?

If you can run mid 2:17s while drafting at VIR you'll easily hang with Jack/me. I'm going to loosen the car up a bit and hope for at least one 2:16.x this weekend. A well sorted well driven PTE car should be running 2:14s in decent weather so it's not terribly hard to run at the front.

I really wanted to make this event, but I won't have my engine back together until end of this month :( I should be at CMP in Nov, though.

I think Luke will be in the ~2:15s

If your car isn't ready see if you can borrow a dually.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves...I'll be happy if I have no car problems and am able to run with the other guys.

Assuming you and Tyler were both driving decently at NCCAR you'll be fine.

I don't think AWR engine mounts and Singular hood vents are going to make that much of a lap time difference...?

You should probably go ahead and schedule a cage install over the "winter"...

I did yesterday actually, haha.

Refreshed engine goes in next weekend, hopefully. So I should be out in TTE at CMP and RA.
