Best of luck with that car dude, I hope that guy took care doing that swap instead of cutting corners. Trailer it home and double check everything. I wouldn't feel safe driving it all the way back to NH before I've done a complete "Check up"....Neat swap though

I would talk to Jeff at Danbury Chassis Dyno. Great guy to deal with and the pricing was reasonable, considering he had my car on the dyno for one afternoon into another half a day.

EDIT: On the other hand, I agree with Cspence on this one. Trailer it if you can.

I'm not saying its not a complete car, I'm just saying there are a lot of unkowns for you purchasing a car you've probably never seen besides online. You know the brakes are good? How bout the bushings or ball joints? The tires good...no dry rot or hidden punctures? Whens the oil been changed last? The car have a tendancy to overheat? What about the alignment? If you lived around the corner my opinon would probably be much different, but you got a long ways to go.

When I bought my first miata I bought it from a guy in NJ. I drove down once to check it out and then again to pick it up. Even with my fiance following me I was still nervous as hell. The next day the lower radiator hose let loose on me. I would have been SOL had it happened to me driving it back to CT....I was lucky

My current miata I bought sight unseen. I poked the seller for all he was worth (Information wise) and even then I went through just about every nut and bolt when the car was dropped off. (I had a delivery company trailer it from SC to CT)....

Go to uhaul and rent a truck and trailer if you have to, it'll be worth the couple hundred bucks

Its definitly a nice car. If I didn't have my miata right now I'd probably scoop this up. I mean all the leg work is done for the most part and its unique...

I would also trailer it, or have triple a. When I bought my second hond I made it about 10 miles and the engine fell apart. After you get it checked out and tuned you need to come back down to ct for the meet! I would really love to see that thing in person!
