Yeah, its alot of hard parking but on Sunday is a track day on the speedway's road course for $140 for all day.

i have never been to a Import alliance meet, sounds like im not missing much.

 

I went to some local import\whateverthefuckcaryouhave meet. Was super gay, I can only stand ricer idiots on the interwebz, not IRL. Went fishing instead. Caught a decent catfish and some turtles. This is not relevant to the thread.

 

You can fish for turtles? o.o How?

 

Turtles are a nuisance, often getting hooked on the foot. They are angry little ******* too. One we caught was about 10lbs, nearly the size of 4 of my size 12 boots.

 

Actually, being afraid of turtles biting my feet is a major reason i won't swim in ponds, so i'm all for that.

Really though, how do you catch a turtle? Do they bite the lure and you pull them up like a normal fish, or is there more to it? Do you eat them?

 

They like catfish bait and will bit, or they just get hooked. I have cold-blooded murdered a turtle with a pocket knife in the past, but I just let them go now. Catching a turtle is better than catching nothing, but it is not ideal.

 

i;ve gone crabbing with a fishing pole. It was down here in Galvestone at least.

The K-Tuned Team will be there with the Honda Product line-up. They leave on Wednesday.

 

it is abunch of hardparking. But last year they had the Redline Time Attack guys there running an event. and this year they are having Drifting Saturday and a Track day on Sunday.

Yeah its nothing spectacular, but it is a good time to just get out and see what going on in the car world.

Plus its fun to make fun of all the dipshits out there.

 

I would say I'd look for ya but I know there are going to be a million NA miatas there this year... all the fanboi's seem to have turned roadster...
