You are just to lazy to drive anywhere else to meet people. Just admit it now.:fawk:

That's a factor, but I don't see anything wrong with the idea that I'm the most east before DC, therefore meet at my house.

Plus if we take glebe and GW memorial pkwy to 495, it's an awesome drive.

Brains spot is way better (closer) for me too ;) . So 8am?

airbrush1 04-05-2010 01:18 PM

Braineack 04-05-2010 01:19 PM

8-8:30 at my place is good (PM me if you need address), shouldn't take more than an hour and a half to get there.

Faeflora 04-05-2010 02:27 PM

For those who haven't been there before---

As you come down main street, you'll hit a long hill and then an "old town" section. The shop is in an alley on the left right at the beginning of the old town area. There is a sign saying "York Automotive" on the left.

We will meet across the street from the alley in the parking lot by the restaurant. Either my green miata or black forester will be at the parking lot entrance, depending on if my miata is healthy or not.

PM me ur address and I will then decide if it's worth it to drive all the way into Arlington for the mere pleasure of taking the scenic GW Pkwy all the way back out to 495, given that my house is 1/4 mile off 495.

y8s 04-05-2010 10:23 PM

Sorry, pack in the gravel parking lot across from the shop.

shuiend 04-10-2010 08:11 PM

It was a good turn out. I really like the shop, just wish that they had more parking. Also it was amazing meeting Ken who is one of the Dev's of MS.

So, no drama w/ any cars? Everyone had a good time? I'm bummed I missed out, but had no car (got the 6-speed in thanks to Andrewtech working on a Saturday), and had to remodel my new house. Fun.

My MS resets or has other problems when I run above 10psi. Which made me sad because I wanted to do a 15psi pull. Other then that everything went decently well. no blown motors this time, or coolant shooting in to peoples faces.

I put my raw data in excel and added 10% to the numbers and compared it to my last dyno in Nov. The dyno operator said his Dyno Dynamics consistently runs around 10% lower than a dynojet with his Spec Miatas, so it will compare fairly well.

All I can say is that I'm happy with how it's running (when it's running on all 4 cly.)

Here are the uncorrected numbers, I dunno why I have the loss up top, might be from my metal core cat that I didn't have prior...

We need to use this place more often. Ill have pictures of the day uploaded later.

Braineack 04-11-2010 10:31 AM

Damn I wanted to see what your car could do again ;) I need to start looking for a 6 speed too I think. Oh well.
