I don't like that attitude

 

I'll be there running in the blue group again.

 

I'd really love to make it, trust me... it's just not in the cards this year. I'm looking forward to driving the car down instead of towing it like last year.

 

I suck at planning but I will be in area the next weekend for the Dragon Hillclimb in my k20 powered car Deviate! If anyone is still around look for me or swing by the hillclimb.

MBTG was a blast (even though I was relegated to the "Green" group)!

FrankenMiata (almost) survived the day. It's all fun and games until your non heat-shielded turbo melts a hole in your brake master cylinder, pukes brake fluid all over a red-hot exhaust manifold and starts a minor fire;


It's all good, fire was small and put out quickly. I had to wait for "reinforcements" to come and tow me home, but I'll live to fight another day.

 

This event went great! I'm so happy it wasn't a down-pour the entire day too. Thank for everybody that came out! I hope we continue this event every year.
